LTEH's newly set up Offshore & Operation Command Centre gives it an edge.
At L&T Energy Hydrocarbon (LTEH), innovation and technology go hand in hand. The execution capabilities of the business are always augmented by new-age tools.
One such move is the new Offshore & Operation Command Centre (OOCC) that LTEH has set up at AMN Tower in Mumbai for monitoring of its offshore operations. It was inaugurated in October by Mr Subramanian Sarma (L&T’s Whole-time Director & Sr EVP – Energy).
A gateway to advanced monitoring and rapid response, OOCC is a state-of-the-art hub equipped with cutting-edge technology. It contains a comprehensive array of integrated tools and resources designed to ensure the safety and efficiency of all the offshore operations, such as:
- Video Conference Room: A fully integrated setup for seamless communication and decision-making during critical situations.
- Weather Monitoring Device: Real-time access to weather data for accurate situational awareness.
- Live Vessel Tracking Software: This enables live tracking of the vessels, enhancing the ability to respond swiftly when needed.
- Offshore Field Map & Navigation Chart: A detailed resource for effective navigation and decision support.
In the event of an emergency, there is also a well-established and a well-defined standard procedure. Immediate action is facilitated by a dedicated speed-dial number programmed into the OOCC’s telephone system.
With the OOCC at the heart of all its operations, LTEH is now ready to ensure the safety, security and success of its offshore endeavours.
