ECOVADIS, the Paris-headquartered business sustainability rating agency, has awarded L&T Group company – Mindtree – a Silver Rating in this year’s sustainability assessment. This places Mindtree among the top 25% of the 75,000+ companies that EcoVadis assessed.
Again, Mindtree was among the Top 5 companies with highest ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) scores in an evaluation by CRISIL Ltd. CRISIL analysed three annual reporting cycles of 225 companies across 18 sectors in India through the fiscal year 2020.
UP IN UK
Mindtree has been ranked second for customer satisfaction in the 2021 UK IT Sourcing Study conducted by Whitelane Research in collaboration with PA Consulting. The company’s overall satisfaction score of 80% was well above the industry average of 72%.

Sweeping HR SCORE
L&T’s Heavy Civil Infrastructure (HCI) vertical has been conferred the prestigious FICCI HR SCORE Award for 2021 in the Large Corporates Category. This makes L&T the only construction company to receive this award, which recognises HCI’s excellence in human resource management and people practices during the pandemic.
The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) in association with IIM-Trichy hosted the Awards ceremony to felicitate deserving HR managers and organisations. FICCI had received nominations from 30 leading corporates and the nominations were evaluated by a distinguished team IIM-Trichy.
The assessment was conducted based on the SCORE model, which stands for strategic alignment, customer value enhancement, organisational capability development, responsiveness to internal customers and environmental sustainability.
FICCI’s Tamil Nadu State Council presented the award at a glittering ceremony in Chennai on 17 April. The event was chaired by Mr Justice N Kirubakaran of the Madras High Court, Prof PK Singh ( Director, IIM – Trichy), Dr GS K Velu (Chairman – FICCI TNSC), Mr P Sridharan (Head – FICCI TNSC), and Mr N R Mani (Convenor – FICCI TNSC HR Panel 2021).
