Business Today Honours Mr. A.M. Naik with Lifetime Achievement Award

Business Today, the business fortnightly published by India Today Group has conferred the prestigious Lifetime Achievement award on L&T Group Chairman, Mr. A.M. Naik for his invaluable services to L&T and contribution to the growth of industry in the country. The award was presented to Mr. Naik at a formal ceremony in Mumbai on January 13, 2018. Mr. Jayant Sinha, Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation presented Mr. Naik a memento and a citation at an august gathering of industry captains and international thought leaders. Dedicating the award to L&T, where he has spent over 53 years, Mr. Naik said, “L&T’s growth is part of the larger narrative of the India growth story.” He credited his accomplishments to his formative years in a village in South Gujarat. “That is where I learnt the core principles which moulded my character,” he said adding that his success mantra is passion, conviction, commitment and devotion. One of the country’s leading business magazines, Business Today is published by Living Media India Limited, and is in publication since 1992. The Lifetime Achievement Award is a new category instituted this year and Mr. Naik is its first recipient.
