LTIMindtree enters key partnerships with IBM and Vodafone
 
LTIMindtree (LTIM) has collaborated with IBM to establish a global joint Generative AI Centre of Excellence (CoE) in India. A co-innovation centre, it will combine the power of the IBM watsonx AI and data platform and the engineering skills of LTIM.
 
To expand the scope of generative AI applications for digital initiatives of clients, the CoE will utilise the IBM watsonx platform and AI assistants, machine learning (ML), speech recognition, natural language processing and conversational AI to augment end-user experience.
 
The CoE plans to offer a comprehensive suite of services, combining LTIM’s expertise in data and ML model customisation and full-stack engineering with IBM’s watsonx technology including watsonx.ai, watsonx.data, watsonx governance and AI assistants. It will focus on building point solutions to accelerate clients’ generative AI adoption journeys.
 
In another development, LTIM has joined hands with Vodafone to offer connected and smart IoT solutions. Powered by LTIM’s Insight NXT platform (iNXT) and Vodafone’s Managed IoT Connectivity, the solutions will enable Industry X.0 and digital transformation across multiple vertical sectors.
 
LTIM will develop highly scalable end-to-end solutions by leveraging the power of IoT, Metaverse, AI and ML, and deliver secure, connected ecosystems and outcomes over Vodafone’s Managed IoT Connectivity network.
 
Now LTIM’s clients will be able to maximise revenue-acceleration efforts through newer business models, cost efficiency and sustainability. Solutions will be provided to deliver advanced capabilities in AI, ML, predictive maintenance, digital twin, supply chain visibility, sustainability, energy management, worker safety, sensorisation of assets, augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) training.

L&T-Sufin introduced MSMEs in Ludhiana to its platform
 
L&T-SuFin conducted a knowledge-exchange session for the Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector at Ludhiana in Punjab in May. Hosted in partnership with Ludhiana Machine Tools Manufacturers Association (LMTMA), over 70 MSME promoter-members of LMTMA attended the session.
 
Present were key LMTMA dignitaries – Mr Amarjeet Singh Sagar (President), Mr Balpreet Singh (General Secretary), Mr Bhupinder Singh (Finance Secretary) and Mr Gurjeet Bhambar (Sr Member).
 
Mr Vivek Chauhan (Chief Commercial Officer – L&T-SuFin) spoke on ‘Creating Efficiencies in Supply Chain Through Digitisation for MSMEs’. The audience evinced deep interest in the session.
