Two projects delivered by L&T’s Heavy Civil Infrastructure vertical – the Mumbai Coastal Road Project (MCRP, Package 1) and the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL, Package 1) – have received prestigious accolades from the American Concrete Institute (ACI).

 
The awards were presented at the ‘Excellence in Concrete Construction Awards’ hosted in Philadelphia on 4 November 2024. MCRP secured the first place in the ‘Infrastructure’ category, MTHL secured second place in the ‘Bridge’ category.

 

The winners were selected based on stringent criteria – including architectural and engineering merit, creativity, innovative construction techniques, use of materials, sustainability, resilience, functionality and end-use suitability.

 

The awards were presented by ACI President Michael J Paul to L&T’s K Senthinathan (EVP & Head – Technical Services), S D Patil (VP & Head – Bridges Business Unit), Sandeep Singh (Project Director – MCRP Projects) and Inki Choi (Head – Design, Bridges).
