Komatsu and L&T shine at international exhibition
Komatsu and L&T stole the show at the International Mining & Machinery Exhibition 2024 (IMME) hosted at Kolkata’s Science City Exhibition Ground in late October.
IMME, the largest mining exhibition in the east, brought together industry leaders, customers, and professionals, providing a perfect platform to showcase advancements in sustainable mining technology.
Despite cyclone Dana, the Komatsu-L&T stall attracted a sizeable number of visitors – including representatives from major organisations like Coal India, SAIL, Tata Steel, JSW Steel, NMDC, Ultratech Cement, Dalmia Cement and Shree Cement.
Komatsu and L&T highlighted their sustainable solutions for mid-to-mega mining projects. Seeking greener solutions, the visitors were particularly impressed with Komatsu’s B20, biofuel-compliant range of mining machines.
By focusing on innovation, sustainability, and customer-centric solutions, they demonstrated their commitment to industry growth, delivering exceptional value.
The stars of the show were Komatsu PC4000 (a 400-tonne hydraulic excavator) and the 730E (a 190-tonne electric drive dump truck). The efficiency and durability of these machines set new standards in cost-effective performance and longevity, even under tough conditions.
An interactive kiosk enabled customers to explore Komatsu’s entire range of mining machines that are distributed in India by L&T.
