Students in Hyderabad have a reason to rejoice! Thanks to the special student pass that Hyderabad Metro has introduced, they can now take 30 trips across all fare zones…. for the price of 20 trips!
The pass was launched by Mr N V S Reddy (MD – Hyderabad Metro Rail Ltd) and Mr K V B Reddy (MD & CEO – L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad Ltd) on 1 July.
“We are happy to introduce this exclusive pass for students. The offer is part of our continued efforts to serve metro rail passengers with the best value-for-money travel option,” Mr N V S Reddy said.
Mr K V B Reddy expressed delight at the initiative, stating: “The Metro is Hyderabad’s most trusted, eco-friendly and comfortable mode of transport, and our endeavour has always been to push the limits to serve our passengers better.”
A student pass is valid for 30 days from the date of purchase. The offer is available from 1 July 2023 to 31 March 2024. And there’s more! Along with the pass, students will receive discount coupons of retail brands associated with Hyderabad Metro, such as 24Seven Convenience Stores and Reliance Trends.
Students can purchase the pass between 11 am - 5 pm at the stations on Red Line (JNTU College, SR Nagar, Ameerpet, Victoria Memorial and Dilsukhnagar), Green Line (Narayanguda), and Blue Line (Nagole, Parade Grounds, Begumpet and Raidurg). Only those born after 1 April 1998 are eligible to buy a student pass.
