L&T Energy – Hydrocarbon (LTEH) and L&T Valves participated in the 30th Chemtech World Expo 2022 held from June 8 to 11 at the JIO World Convention Centre in Mumbai. They put up a joint stall at this international event.
Being Gold Partners, LTEH and L&T Valves highlighted their marque projects and products, as well as major accomplishments.
Mr Subramanian Sarma (L&T’s Whole-time Director & Sr EVP – Energy) co-chaired the EPC Conference that was hosted as part of Chemtech. The theme of the conference was Learnings from the Pandemic - Adapting to the New Normal.
Several dignitaries, including Mr Suresh Prabhu (MP – Rajya Sabha), Ms Katherina Wieser (Ambassador of Austria to India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka), Mr B Narayan (Group President, Projects & Procurement – Reliance Industries), Mr Maulik Jasubhai (Chairman & Chief Executive – Jasubhai Group & Chemtech Foundation) and Mr Sanjay Joshi (Director – Aker Carbon Capture India) spoke at the inauguration of the expo.
In his speech, Mr Sarma dwelt upon how the world witnessed multiple surprises during past two-and-a-half years – such as the speed and scale of the pandemic, the pace at which the pharmaceutical industry responded to the crisis, the phenomenal way the world has turned around in terms of energy transition, ESG, geopolitics, digitalisation, migration of workforce, etc.
He emphasised on the four building blocks on which organisations will have to focus, viz., people, process, technology and culture.
