The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Punjab, Capt. Amarinder Singh along with the Hon’ble Power Minister, Mr. Rana Gurjit Singh in the presence of Mr. Sanjiv Puri, CEO & Executive Director, ITC, inaugurated ITC’s Integrated Food Manufacturing and Logistics Facility (IFML) at Kapurthala, Punjab, on December 14, 2017.
 
Mr. Puri appreciated the Project Team on the speedy construction and successful completion of the project. Speaking about the facility he noted that IFML Kapurthala is ITC’s first big plant in the country to have been completed in the shortest time span with utmost safety and quality.

Senior Executives from L&T who graced the occasion included Mr. Niranjan Simha, EVP, Head – RB&F SBG, Mr. T. Sriraman, BU Head – Factories, Mr. Arun Kumar Tripathi, CPM – Factory DLCL, and Mr. S K Gill, Project Manager, IFML Project.

The facility is spread over 72 acres and has built-up area of 1.5 Million sq ft. catering to aata plant, snacks plant, beverage plant & biscuit plant along with the utility buildings. The facility will manufacture ITC’s popular food brands such as ‘Aashirvaad’ aata, ‘Bingo!’ chips, ‘Sunfeast’ biscuit, ‘YiPPee!’ noddles and ‘B Natural’ juices, among others.
