LTHE Recognised at MEED Quality Awards

In our client's success lies ours and in their recognition lay our rewards. On May 3, 2017, at the MEED Quality Awards for Projects held in Dubai, when the prestigious Sadara Project, owned jointly by Saudi Aramco and the Dow Chemical Company, was recognised for its outstanding quality leadership, L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering had plenty of reasons to smile and take pride in the triumph.

The mega oil & gas project won not one but three awards on the momentous evening, including the coveted MEED Quality Project of the Year in GCC. L&T's name as one of the major contractors for the project was beamed on stage as the awards were presented to Sadara Project representatives.

Mr. Jitendra Singh, Country Manager, Saudi Arabia, attended the event and interacted with SADARA/Saudi Aramco team which had graced the occasion. This included Mr. Warren W. Wilder, Vice President (Chemicals), Saudi Aramco; Mr. Fahad A. Al Ammari, Chief Program Officer, SADARA; Mr. Amin F. Ghazzawi, Manager - Refining and NGL Projects Department, Saudi Aramco; Mr. Majid Al Majid, Project Director (PE), SADARA; and Mr. Samir, Project Director (1st Product), SADARA.

Mr. Singh familiarised the team with LTHE's capabilities in engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction disciplines. He also briefed them about the major project completed and currently being executed by L&T in KSA and other GCC Countries.

The annual MEED Quality Awards for Projects not only recognise the construction element of project delivery but also consider the value and quality of a project throughout its entire life cycle, from the design concept through to engineering and construction and its wider contribution to society and to the environment.
