L&T hosts India Inc leaders at Hazira event L&T hosted over 60 industry leaders of India Inc at the 4th Indian Foundation for Quality Management (IFQM) L&T CEO/CXO Learning Mission 2025. The event was hosted on 12-13 February at the A M Naik Heavy Engineering Complex at Hazira, Gujarat. Guests at the event included IFQM General Council members, CEO & Director Soumitra Bhattacharya and TVS Motor’s Director & CEO K N Radhakrishnan. L&T CMD S N Subrahmanyan, Tata Steel CEO & MD T V Narendran, LG Balakrishnan & Bros CMD Prabakaran P joined the session virtually. The gathering was addressed by the General Council members of IFQM and Jayant Patil (Member of L&T Executive Committee and Advisor to CMD). L&T team presented their best practices in Learning & Development, Quality Excellence, Supply Chain, and Digital Transformation. The event offered valuable learning experiences and insights into industry best practices across various disciplines. It included tours of L&T’s state-of-the-art, digitally-enabled facilities for heavy engineering, modular fabrication, turbine generators, electrolysers, heavy forging, and the Armoured Systems Complex. The guests and delegates also visited L&T’s Safety Innovation School and the Green Hydrogen Plant on the campus. Thanking the industry captains for attending the event, Anil V Parab (Whole- time Director & Sr EVP – Heavy Engineering and L&T Valves) highlighted the role of such forums for sharing best industry practices, and appreciated IFQM for creating this platform for select industry leaders. The participants were impressed by L&T’s engineering prowess, technology advancement, innovation and unwavering focus on quality. They stated that it was a rewarding experience to see and understand various best practices which can be emulated at their businesses. IFQM was founded in 2023 to catalyse transformational changes in the way Indian companies, cutting across industry sectors, operate and institutionalise a culture of quality that meets and exceeds global standards. In hosting the latest IFQM session, L&T demonstrated its role as a quality leader.

L&T's participation in India Energy Week 2025 affirms its focus on powering brighter tomorrows Several L&T entities involved with the energy sector attended the India Energy Week (IEW 2025) held in February in New Delhi. They include L&T Energy Hydrocarbon (LTEH), CarbonLite Solutions and GreenTech, along with L&T Heavy Engineering, L&T Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D), L&T Construction and L&T Valves. IEW 2025 served as a crucial platform for fostering innovation and collaboration in the global energy sector. The event was hosted under the patronage of the Union Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, India and was inaugurated virtually by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri, as well as other senior dignitaries, attended in person. The L&T businesses showcased their diverse product portfolio, marquee projects, and milestone accomplishments. LTEH demonstrated commitment to cleaner energy and sustainability by exhibiting offshore wind business model, including HVDC and HVAC substations, floater, jack with suction pile and monopile, and a transition piece. L&T Energy GreenTech and L&T Electrolyser Ltd highlighted electrolyser stack model; while L&T Valves displayed their cryogenic range designed for LNG and hydrogen projects. The event was attended by a galaxy of L&T’s senior leaders: Subramanian Sarma (Whole-time Director & President – Energy, L&T), Nandakumar Kulkarni (EVP & Head – LTEH Onshore Petrochemicals & Fertilisers), Falgun Chokshi (EVP - Process Plant & Nuclear Equipment, Heavy Engineering), Derek Shah (Sr VP & Head – GreenTech), Shirish Dalal (VP & Head – LTEH AdVENT), Anupam Ghosal (VP & Head – Modification Revamp Upgrade & Special Fabrication Unit, Heavy Engineering), Siddharth Gupta (Chief Executive – L&T Electrolysers Ltd) and Suman Bakshi (Head – Corporate Centre & Domestic Marketing – Heavy Engineering). During the panel discussion on ‘The Future of US-India Energy Partnership – IEA 2025’, which included Union Minister Mr Puri, Mr Sarma underscored the role of natural gas as a crucial bridging fuel in energy transition and highlighted the advantages of modular fabrication in reducing costs, mitigating schedule risks and enhancing efficiency. He also explained how modular fabrication solutions can facilitate LNG plant expansion in India and position the country as an energy export hub. He also spoke about the opportunities in electrolyser manufacturing, underscoring the benefits of indigenous technology, efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Furthering L&T’s thought leadership at the event, Mr Gupta participated in the panel discussion titled ‘Make in India: Developing India’s Global Role as a Green Manufacturing Powerhouse’. IEW 2025 provided an invaluable opportunity to engage with global industry leaders, explore new developments in the energy landscape, and showcase its capabilities in driving India’s clean energy transition.

L&T's project management programmes help the Company excel Great projects are driven by stellar project management skills. To create a pipeline of global project management professionals, Larsen & Toubro set up a world-class project management education centre – the L&T Institute of Project Management (L&T IPM). L&T IPM holds several training programmes. Its flagship programme, Pragati, is a Project Leadership Development Programme (PLDP) focusing on the comprehensive development of project leaders who can handle mega projects and mega portfolios. Flagship Programme Convocation The first batch of participants of the Pragati International Executive Master’s in Business with Specialisation in Project Management (IEMB-PM) were awarded their credentials at a glittering convocation ceremony on 8 February at SDA Bocconi Asia Centre, Mumbai. It included addresses by senior executives, the L&T IPM Dean, programme heads and key stakeholders. The course had been delivered in collaboration with the SDA Bocconi School of Management, Milan, Italy – which holds the 6th global ranking in custom education, as per the Financial Times’ Business School Rankings 2024. The Chief Guest was Anil V Parab (Whole-time Director & Sr EVP, Heavy Engineering and L&T Valves). Present were key representatives from L&T IPM, including Prof Rajiv Nehru (Dean), Dr Hiren Maniar (Deputy Dean), Dr Avirag Bajpai (Programme Director) and Mitesh Prajapati (Programme Coordinator). Guests from SDA Bocconi included Alessandro Giuliani (MD) and Prof Veronica Vecchi (Academic Director, IEMB-PM Programme). Mansi Sutaria from L&T Energy Hydrocarbon and Rohan Tyagi from Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) were jointly awarded the SDA Bocconi Gold Medal. The 32 participants were from several L&T businesses: L&T Precision Engineering & Systems, Power Transmission & Distribution, Heavy Civil Infrastructure, Water & Effluent Treatment, L&T Energy Hydrocarbon, Minerals & Metals, Transportation Infrastructure, CarbonLite Solutions and Heavy Engineering. Two batches of the IEMB-PM programme for L&T’s professionals are in progress. Batch 4 will soon be announced, and is scheduled to commence this May. To strengthen the competencies of future Project Directors, L&T-IPM partnered with University of Texas, Austin, USA to jointly deliver the fifth IPLM for its Tier-3 professionals. This will help create a pipeline of project leadership talent to effectively manage international projects, sail through VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity) environments and meet or exceed expectation on mega-project performance. The focus areas are Protecting Profitability, De-risking Execution, Driving Execution Efficiency, and Improving Project Delivery Performance.
L&T’s Tier-3 professionals manage mega projects or a portfolio of complex projects. As many L&T businesses undertake engineering and construction projects, L&T-IPM designs and delivers programmes in collaboration with reputed institutions.
