LTIMindtree to enhance operations of Greece-based banking group and Danish mineral-processing farm
 
Eurobank, a leading banking group in in Greece, has entered a collaboration with LTIMindtree (LTIM) to enhance its customer experience by improving banking operations and building innovative IT services. The collaboration, enabled by Fairfax Digital Services, includes the establishment of a Global Delivery Centre (GDC) in Pune, which was inaugurated on 17 February.
 
This is yet another testimony to the strong economic ties between Greece and India. Complementing LTIM’s recently established office in Greece, the GDC will drive technology modernisation and digital innovation, as well as enhance and maintain critical banking applications. The initiative will empower Eurobank Group to effectively meet growing customer demands as it expands its services.
 
Additionally, as part of the multi-year collaboration, LTIM has been selected as services partner for Eurobank Luxembourg’s Temenos implementation programme, providing maintenance, data migration, quality assurance and post- production support services to the bank.
 
LTIM will help drive innovation and modernise technology infrastructure of Eurobank Group in Cyprus, Luxembourg and Greece.
 
In another development, LTIM has partnered with FLS, Denmark-based leading full flowsheet mineral processing supplier to the global mining industry, to strategically transform its application services portfolio.
 
LTIM will maintain and support FLS Mining’s vast and complex application landscape. By leveraging the power of AI and automation tools, LTIM will assist FLS Mining in reducing complexity and enabling business efficiency.
 
The engagement is a testament to LTIM’s ability to support the diverse needs of a demanding industry and bring futuristic innovations to a client’s system. As the key enabler in FLS’s strategic transformation journey, LTIM remains committed to streamlining business processes and simplifying outcomes for end customers.

L&T Finance enters gold loan business
 
L&T Finance (LTF) is making an entry into the gold loan sector by acquiring Paul Merchants Finance Pvt Ltd’s (PMFL) gold loan business, subject to necessary approvals and the fulfilment of all conditions precedent to closing.
 
The proposed acquisition includes a fully operational network of 130 branches and security centre for 24x7 remote monitoring of all gold loan branches, strategically located in less penetrated markets like Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Included in the deal are approximately 700 employees.
 
This is an all-cash deal with a lumpsum consideration of Rs 537 crore along with certain adjustments to be done till closing. The business transfer is expected to close by the second quarter of the financial year 2025-26.
 
Once the deal becomes a reality, gold loan will be a strategic addition to LTF’s bouquet of secured loan products.

LTF’s commitment to digital excellence was celebrated at the Indian Digital Awards 2025, presented by the Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI).
 
LTF’s PLANET App was bestowed the Silver Award for Best User Interface.

As of Q3 FY25, the app was downloaded over 15 crore times, clocking over Rs 3,100 crore in collections and over Rs 10,500 crore in sourcing. It has given LTF’s customers over 5.5 lakh seamless servicing experiences.
